Photo ID Licence to verify competency

We provide training in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS3760 to enable your own people to undertake testing of your electrical equipment therefore ensuring training is practical and relevant in nature.

The course first teaches the inspection of electrical equipment - this is done prior to any testing and ensures the safety of the person doing the testing; then moves into the testing of equipment and includes the correct use of a PAT (Portable Appliances Tester).  It is important to note that PATs are easy to use and therefore to teach someone to use one is not difficult. However, most of our course content is focused around the safety requirements, features and hazards of appliances and what to look for during the inspection process which must always be done carried out first prior to testing.

We provide the most suitable PAT instrument for you and we Australia and New Zealand’s largest range of PAT Testers (at the best possible prices); including the majority of the brand names currently available in Australia and New Zealand, together with some new brands that are exclusively available through us. This gives us the unique ability to match our customers requirements to everything available on the market, not to just one brand.

At the end of the course each participant under goes an assessment by an Workplace Assessor to verify competency. Upon successfully completing the course a Certificate will be issued which gives details of competency along with a Photo I.D. Licence.

Courses are restricted to 8 people and usually take approximately 6 hours.
